Year 11 is the final phase of the Key Stage 4 journey.  During this final year, students will feel the increasing pressure of studying towards their GCSE examinations. The year team are highly supportive of students at this phase and help them to manage the growing sense of urgency as examinations move closer.

Staff will be ensuring students realise their potential. Support will be offered through additional tuition, both during lunchtimes and after school, when this is required.  In addition, a significant amount of work is undertaken by tutors to ensure each student is supported in making the right decisions for their future after their GCSE examinations.  Information and guidance is given to students to enable them to explore future pathways including further study, apprenticeships and employment opportunities.
