In Year 7, students will benefit from a broad and balanced curriculum. The year 7 team are focused on helping students settle into their new environment and make the most of the exciting opportunities ahead. Support is quickly put in place to assist students who have gaps in their learning and teachers will also focus on identifying those students who need stretch and challenge to maximise their potential. 

Students will have the opportunity to take part in a range of co-curricular activities and will have access to the Academy’s Learning Resource Centre, where they can choose from a selection of books to advance their reading skills.

Year 7 is the most important year in building a foundation for success for students and the PSHE programme covers a range of important topics such as organisation, mutual respect and keeping yourself safe.
