Key stage 2 to key stage 3 (Year 6 to Year 7) transition, means that you will be leaving primary school, friends and teachers and will begin a new chapter of your educational journey.
Many pupils relish embracing new challenges, are ready for the move to their new school, and are looking forward to opportunities to use specialised equipment and develop new knowledge, skills and relationships. Some will also enjoy the opportunity for a fresh start, including having a range of teachers and different personalities to engage with as they build on the knowledge and skills already developed in primary school.
We understand that you may have lots of questions or perhaps a few concerns about the transition. We are here to help and support you every step of the way.
At this stage, you may have many questions that you would like to discuss and may even have some concerns. If you have any questions, please submit them using our Year 6 Transition Frequently Asked Questions Form . We will either respond to you directly or include the question in a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) document which will be shared with families following our three transition days.
We encourage you to get in touch – no question is too small and your feedback helps us ensure a smooth and positive transition for all students.
All students to attend the transition day in either their primary school or Noel-Baker Academy P.E kit on all three days.
